Some things to think about...

Good, better, best. Never let it rest until your good is better and your better is best.

Berwick Search & Rescue - Sean Kim

On Wednesday 25th of May Pete from Adventure Masters taught us how to do search and rescue. We learned how to make and get people onto stretchers and we also learned how to use and talk the phonetic alphabet. My name in the phonetic alphabet was Sierra, Echo, Alpha, November. We got split up into 3 groups and go sent to three different places. Our group had to go to the garage. Pete made us all say our names in the phonetic alphabet then sent us all to a different location. Our group got sent near a forest. When we got there we got told to look for a casualty after a while we found Cody’s dad Ryan inside a bivouac with a broken leg. One of the other groups got sent to us to take over because we had to find another casualty. We walked with a stretcher to the place we did abseiling. Luckily one other group was already helping out the casualty so we only needed to help them. We got the casualty onto the stretcher and started to take it to the car that was waiting for us. At that moment Andy Sam’s Dad fell over and broke his leg. We decided to take the stretcher and the other group helped Andy. When we got to the car we put the casualty into it and let the car drive to camp. We had so much fun.
